Johns Hopkins University
Johns Hopkins University is a private research university in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1876, the university was named for its first benefactor, the American entrepreneur, abolitionist, and philanthropist Johns Hopkins.
Johns Hopkins was a founding member of the American Association of Universities.[14] Johns Hopkins University is often cited as among the world’s top universities. The university is ranked 10th among undergraduate programs at National Universities in U.S. News & World Report latest rankings, and 10th among global universities by U.S. News & World Report.
